In the music scene, Unge Sangere (young singers) and the
Opera Workshop are recurring events of high calibre. There are also
several music festivals in Ikast-Brande each year, with the three
largest being: Ikast Musikliv, Bording Rock and Sensommer Rock,
which draw thousands of people to the area and have a varied
repertoire of Danish musicians on the bill.
The Municipality of Ikast-Brande offers excellent cultural centres with Bakkehuset in Ikast and Remisen Brande. Bakkehuset is an intimate concert venue with room for 150 people, while Remisen Brande can serve up to 1000 people.
Ikast-Brande Music School is a great offer for your children if
they wish to play an instrument, and for adults there is a wide
range of choirs located in different parts of the Municipality. You

The municipality has two cinemas, each with three screens. The cinema in Ikast is new and full of the latest technical features. The second cinema, Klovborg Kino, is a unique example of our determination and drive. The cinema has almost 400 seats and is located in a town of approximately 550. In 2007 it was actually crowned as the best cinema in Denmark.
At the municipality libraries you can borrow books in a variety
of languages, as well as music and DVDs, etc. In Denmark, libraries
